About Kimberley

Welcome to Kimberley’s Fashion Wear website! Kimberley is a Christian and the wife of the Pastor of Pope Avenue Baptist Church in Athens, TN. Her father was a Preacher, so she was raised as a “preacher’s kid,” more importantly, she was raised in a Christian home.

Kimberley’s mother ensured the family was fed and cared for, but most of all, she demonstrated the values of a Christian woman. Her parents owned 10 acres of land surrounded by vast timber, allowing her and her brothers to ride horses on the trails surrounding her childhood home.

She was raised by godly parents, and the freedoms she enjoyed as a child gave her opportunities many children do not have today.

About Kimberley’s Fashion Wear

Kimberley heard from many women in churches about the difficulty of finding modest clothing that looked good and was also modest. This dilemma gave Kimberley the idea for a new business model.

Kimberley and her husband were driving through the old/historic part of Downtown Athens, TN when she mentioned that she had always wanted a shop and would love to open a dress shop. And BOOM!!! He made it happen. “Kimberley’s Fashion Wear” was born!

She decided to tailor the clothing she would carry for the modest women in her store. Therefore, her tagline became “Modest Clothing for Modest Women.” These clothes could be worn to church, work, home, or around town.

New Location

Kimberley realized she could save her clients money by building a shop near her home instead of having a downtown location. She is now operating out of a new building located at:
